I have also been experiancing the same problem with Win32 programs opening a dos
window in the background while the program runs in the forground.  I am just
using RSXNTDJ v 1.5 + DJGPP, and have been programming in DOS for quite a
while.  (I'm starting to wonder if it's worth the effort to learn how to program
in Win, but I can't just not finish a project).  Thanks for anyone's help
