Have you set the environmental variables in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file?

Use notepad/Wordpad to type in the programme to a file.

Save the file as hello.c in c:\windows\temp (ie c:\windows\temp\hello.c)

open a DOS window

type gcc -c -Wall c:\windows\temp\hello.c

What else do you need to know?

Regards
Jon
