Well, I used to program but I took a long break because I get really
frustrated when a computer program that I am writing does not work. I need
to know about websites that have good information about programming under
DJGPP and of course Allegro. The only programming language that I know is
Quickbasic which I had to take to pass a college course several months ago.
I accidentally sent that post about Games before it was finished. I wanted
it to say that " I would like to see old games reprogrammed for new
computers, but I don't know where to start or how to program". I would like
to know if there is a beginning tutorial that teaches programming under
DJGPP and Allegro in a step by step pattern that is easy for beginners to
understand. I wanted to learn programming but I get really frustrated. The
frustration gets so bad that I have deleted DJGPP about 5 times and I had to
reinstall. And by the way, is there a Pascal to C converter/translator, I
don't like link to a Pascal to C program that I saw in the Files Found on
Other Sites on www.delorie.com . I'm more of a game player than a programmer
but I would like to make role playing games in the tradition of Bard's Tale
I,II,III, Wizardry, Wasteland, Ultima, etc. Links to easy to lean tutorials
on programming in DJGPP and Allegro and about programming role playing games
will be 100% appreciated.
