I am sending this post to give people idea's about what kind of games I
would love to see. I would love to see more of recreation of games from the
seventies and eighties written in DJGPP and Allegro. I mean games which do
not have a lot of clones. Games such as Boulderdash, Asteroids, Galaxian,
Galaga, Tetris, Space Invaders, etc are not include in my post because these
games have too many clones. An example whould be adding graphics to text
adventure games. Imagine Adventure, Colosial Caves, etc with graphics. What
I would like to see is games from the C-64, Amiga, Old PC, CPC, Spectrum,
Ataris, TI99/4A, Trs-80, etc. redisgned using DJGPP and Allegro. Imagine a
16 color game which uses 3 voice sound being redisgned with DJGPP and
Allegro and being able to use 256,16-bit of 24-bit color, mod or midi music,
digital
sounds, etc.
