Wouldn't all these DLL problems disappear if applications
kept their DLL's to themselves instead of dumping them into
one big DLL pool? This would also make application removal
much simpler.

Since this discussion is about DLL's now, I would like to
ask if somebody could point me to an accurate description
of the DLL format. I have a DLL which I would like to
modify a little bit. (Yes, I know that this might be
illegal, etc., etc.). I posed this question in some other
newsgroup but didn't get an answer.
