I've had the opportunity to try that (before I finally gave in to the
powers that be, and upgraded in one large step from 3.1 to '98), and
the answer is: most of the RSXNTDJ tools didn't work. This went to the
point that I deinstalled RSXNTDJ completely, as it was of no actual
use to me.
