That "win32 support thing rx something or another in djgpp 2.8" thing is
called RSXNTDJ 1.31 for DJGPP 2.0.
Get it from the place where you got your DJGPP (it's in v2tk).  Unzip
it, and then follow the installation instructions contained in
DOC\RSXNTDJ.HLP.

Then follow the instructions at the following site:
http://www.mathematik.uni-bielefeld.de/~rainer/ to fix a couple of
problems.

Don't bother with the MSSDK stuff (it was marked optional).

Everything still works except for the gui/cplus example.  However this
is not a beginner's C/C++ compiler for learning programming Windows.
