Reply-To: djgpp AT delorie DOT com

I have recently moved from Win3.11 to Win98.

It appears that the djgpp package still runs in Win98 DOS Window.

But I'm somewhat anxious about one problem: in order to have an amount
of memory sufficient under Win95, I was advised by Eli Zaretzki to push
the DPMI memory parameter of Win95/DOS up to 65535 (i.e. the power of 2
minus one).

But on Win98, the manual posting is rejected so that I can only post
16384, no more.

Therefore two questions:

1. What is the unit in the DPMI size posting (I suppose it is not a
single byte)?

2. Is the unit the same in Win98?

4. Is there any port of djgpp to win32?

Thanks for any reply at the address below (I'm no more on djgpp list due
to message overcrowding...).
