When I use a gcc -E (preprocess only) on a C program file, the output
that I get has lines of the form :
# <line-number> <file-name> [optional no. 1] [optional no. 2]
as in
# 12 "stdio.h" 1 3

Could anybody tell me what [optional no.1] and [optional no. 2 ]
represent
