  There is a program on the Simtel.Net under gnu/djgpp/v2k called
BCSIO20.Zip.
this is a comm program, that can be used with DJGPP.
   Also if you have a Rockwell Chipset in your modem the if you go to
http://www.Rockwell there is a pdf file named D96V24DG.PDF which will
also give you the command for the modem and also how to use them. It
covers fax, sound and
video commands. Rockwell was changed to Coxeant, but the file still has
the same
name.  To print this file takes 281 pages.
     There is an older (Feb 97) file called 1048R.PDF which also explains
the same info,  it takes 181 pages and is a lot easier to understand.
