Congratulations.  And enjoy the chase (of the elusive Microsoft
Knowledge, most of them will be obsolete before you grasp them, past
examples: 640K memory barrier, Windows API, the WinG; current examples:
Video for Windows, VBScript, Microsoft J++; future examples: Win32,
MFC.)

There are plenty in the comp.os.ms-windows.* hierarchy.  None of them
are not recommended now.  Five years ago, some Microsoft engineers
participated in those groups, like the DCOM draft author in the ole
group and Blazhachck(?) in the general groups.  But they have since
graduated into the famous authors' rank, and are nowhere to be seen
anymore.

Subscribe to the MSDN.  That's the only way to learn Microsoft stuff.
