I got this error too. If you look at the code, it's a CPP #define function. GCC
is being passed a file ending in s with a small s. It sees a small s extension
meaning do not run through the preprocessor and a captial S as meaning do. I
don't remember how (or if :)  I fixed it, but that was the cause.
