1) Try renaming config.sys to config.sav, reboot, and try it.  Try renaming
   autoexec.bat to autoexec.sav and try it.  
2) Try the commands:
   CWSDPMI
   CWSDPMI -U
   back to back.  Does this work?  Hang?
