These are all okay, but I have a much more prosaic wish: would somebody 
please work on adding the missing functions from the 2 ISO Appendices to 
the C89 standard, and also the ones planned for the upcoming C9x standard?
If those won't be added soon, we will quickly fall behind the current 
level of requirements from a C/C++ development environment.
