I hope it is the patched library, not the stock one, because the
latter had some grave problems in the profiling code (see the FAQ).

Wait for the next version 2.03 and try then.  The profiling code has
changed quite a bit, and at least in my testing, I see times that are
consistent.

Anyway, the relative times (in percents) are usually right in v2.01 as
well.
