Hi,
When I try to run the grabber program (on Windows NT) I get the following
error.
Error setting 640x480 8bpp graphics mode
VESA not available
Which would be fair enough if it happened with every allegro program, however
the allegro demo game works, and also the example programs I've tried (like
ex22.exe bouncy cubes) work fine in 640x480 (in 8, 16 or 24 bpp modes).
The video card is a STB Systems, Inc. Velocity 3D (ViRGE/VX).
I know from reading the posts here that Allegro isn't supposed to work fully
on NT, but since it can set the graphics mode for some programs it should be
possible to set the same mode for others.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ian.
