Alright, I have programming knowledge, just haven't learned C++ yet. Try to
learn under Windows is no fun. If I don't know how to use C++ well enough
for MFC or Direct-X, I'm stuck with the console. See what I mean when I say
no fun?? So, I want to learn C++ using DOS as my target OS. But first I
would like to know:
Should I use native DOS, or will a Win98 DOS box work fine??
I have found many places to download DJGPP, but at each place the files are
slightly different. It seems many different versions are out there. Where
can I get the latest version?
Any warnings? Advice?
Thanks,
Goodgulf
