in allegro text grey is

rgb = grey(32,32,32)

but

in a dialog i cant do &grey for [].bg = &grey

i tryed to put 323232 for bg and it worked but the color wasnt grey
so is there a way to convert hex color vals to dec color vals
new to c i haven't yet found the string conversion in the text (still looking)
in vb or basic i can do 'str(val(&h6540965))' to get the hex val to dec and
then use the string anywere as a color
