As well as looking at tutorials, I would suggest getting programs of varying
complexity that come with the source code, and trying to figure out how
certain things work.  A big factor in my learning C++ was seeing how the
program would change when I changed numbers and other values inside of the
source.  This is not to say that you shouldn't get a tutorial, just that you
can use this as a big supplement.
