I set SHELL in AUTOEXEC.BAT, so when running any program (like
COMMAND.COM) and bash is launched it must be a login shell.

But you are right if bash starts another bash, then it shouldn't be a
login shell. Hence I need to reset SHELL in my .login or whatever it's
called. I'll look into it.
