Others suggested very good solutions for your problem, additionally you can:

edit the file %DJDIR%/share/rhide/syntaxhl.shl (for example 
c:/djgpp/share/rhide/syntaxhl.shl) and in the line that says:

Files=c,cpp,cxx,cc,h,hpp,i,ii,C++

Put

Files=c,cpp,cxx,cc,h,hpp,i,ii,C++,C

It should fix your problem.
