I'm beginning to suspect that Allegro glitches are the least of your
problems... it looks like you're suffering from incipient hardware
failure... your CPU, mem, or HD are having TIA's or something. I'd suggest
you make backups of everything and then ask a computer service tech about it.

Allegro activity should *not* be able to damage or disturb the functioning
of your hard drive!
