DJGPP does not reorder commands. This is the result of buffering data, like
when a file is buffered when writing to save time if you make hundreds of
calls to fputc instead of one call to fwrite. Either add "\n" to the end of
your string to force the buffer to be flushed, or call fflush(stdout);
immediately after the printf command.

#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>

main()
{
printf("HELLO WORLD. PRESS KEY");

fflush(stdout);

while(!bioskey(1));
exit(0);
}
