Is the barcode scanner a serial tool? 32-bit is only limited to what system will
run the program, and I doubt the program will be uploaded into the scanner. If
you're worried about integer sizes, a "short" is 16-bit, though a little bit
slower. You're developing the program with Windows95, will it be run on the same
computer?
