In article <clcm-19990123-0004 AT plethora DOT net>, Francis Glassborow
<francis AT robinton DOT demon DOT co DOT uk> writes
>IF you want to learn C using Windows98 the investment in a compiler that
>directly supports the OS is worth it. If you are a student or
>teacher/instructor check MetroWerks' academic licence and cost they

>Pascal and, I believe, Objective C)

As I do not use DJGPP I was at the time of writing the above unaware
that it compiles specifically console apps under Windows 95/98. As the
original poster wrote about sources for a DOS GUI library I, wrongly,
assumed that he was trying to run his code in a GUI (Windows 95/98)
mode.
