Is there a way to have _dos_findfirst() and _dos_findnext() return the
files alphabetically?

Right now a directory containing these files: ( DOS dir listing )

A C 723 01-14-99 12:16p a.c
A OUT 106,143 01-14-99 12:16p a.out
A EXE 108,191 01-14-99 12:16p a.exe
B C 1,118 01-14-99 8:48p b.c
B EXE 108,173 01-14-99 7:53p b.exe
C C 717 01-14-99 7:32p c.c
C EXE 108,165 01-14-99 7:32p c.exe
ITEMLIST EXE 108,155 01-14-99 7:46p ItemList.exe

are returned in this order by the two functions: ( ItemList <my program>
dir listing )

a.c
a.out
b.c
c.c
a.exe
ItemList.exe
c.exe
b.exe

If anybody can help me, I'd be gratefull for anything.

Thanks
