Info on its own brings the program up, but adding those two words doesn't
seem to work...
    (C:\WINDOWS) info 'info program'
    Bad command or file name
The program locks up at this point, so I have to CTRL-C out of it.

I see what you mean. Perhaps I wasn't as clear as I should have been there.
When I said design, I meant from the usage point of view, the way it's set
up, new files are added to the tree (or whatever), even the concept of the
tree itself, and the straightforward stuff like navigation keys and so on.

This is the sort of thing I had in meant when I talked about design...

Okay, semi-standard at least, then. Chances are any avid Unixer (is that the
right word?- tell me if it isn't, rather than laughing. Or do both ;-) )
will have come across it. Anyway, I'll remember that the next time I come
across a GNU port....

As well as weird stuff like "I cannot grok this", "Grovel all known info
file's indices"... far out, man!
