I seem to have found a bug somewhere. I'm using bash (version
"1.14.7(1)" according to $BASH_VERSION) in a DOZE box in WINDOZE 4.1
(98), English version. (System properties reports it's version
4.10.1998.)
If I try to format a floppy which is write protected in a: ("format /u
a:") the system becomes so sluggish it's impossible to do
anything. Only way to get the system back to useable state is to hit
the red button.
From a COMMAND.COM box it comes back quickly with "Write protext
error".
Does anyone have a similar trouble? Beware though, if you try it,
you'd probably have to reboot.
Right,
MartinS
