It's known behaviour in MS-DOS (including DOS session under Win95) . Any
output to stdout or stderr clears EOF in stdin. This does not appear in
command.com as it output command prompt. Unfortunatelly we have
this problem under bash, Norton Commander or FAR and perhaps other
similar programs.
