I'm trying to get DJGPP and RSXNTDJ going on a Win98 system, my first
experience with DJGPP. I grabbed everything the ZipPicker said I should, but
I'm running into two problems.

1) gcc -v tells me it's gcc version 2.8.1, the example in RSXNTDJ gives gcc
2.7.2.something. Do I need to switch to an older version? What version of

    DJGPP do I need?

2) I'm also trying to get the MS Platform SDK stuff working. I d/l'd the
newest
file from MS -- it's the September 98 release, meant for NT 5.0 and Windows

    98. The patches given with RSXNTDJ don't seem to match up to this release,
is there a newer version of the patch? Do I need an older version of the
SDK,
and, if so, where can I get it? If I have to patch by hand, I'm not adverse
to it,
but I'm not quite sure what I need to patch.

Thanks for bearing with a relative newbie to DJGPP -- it seems like a godsend,
if I can get it working. ;)

Kevin
