These are the examples in /rsxntdj/sample? Which one? I never tried to
compile a .dll, but will give it a shot. The section of the header file
with the #error you are seeing is just trying to establish how to shift
a 64 bit value. The fix may be as simple as deciding which version is
appropriate for djgpp and adding a __GNUC__ #elif.
