Try 2 things- 1, check in advanced bios settings, your ram banks may be
turned off (I've seen this in a few old 486s), also, after you reboot, try
holding down the insert key, and you should get some extra numbers down
the bottom of the screen near the "american megatrends" serial no. this
is a ram check, and can force some older pcs to recognize extra ram.
