Many DPMI servers won't let you do this, since some of the instructions 
involved in this are priviledged (i.e., they cause a GPF).

So any such messing must be specific to some DPMI server, and will 
probably not work with others.

Alternatively, you could hack CWSDPMI, since its sources are freely 
available.
