Please read section 3.10 of the DJGPP FAQ list for the details.  The 
short answer is that CWSDPMI needs source-level changes to break the 
256MB limit, and those changes will make it quite a bit slower.

I'm not aware of any other DPMI server that allows more than 256MB (many 
of them don't even allow 256MB).

I guess you will need to go to another operating system (e.g. Linux) if 
you really need this as badly as it sounds.
