	Midnight Commander is a full featured GNU file mamager. It displays
directory information in two panels, allowing you to easily copy, move,
or compare files. There is an internal editor and viewer that has
provision for ascii or hex manipulations. A user configurable menu is
available that will run shell scripts against a selected file or a group
of files.

	I started the port just to get more experience with the gnu aspects of
the djgpp package, but have find that I'm using it under Win95 as a
powerful housekeeping tool. There is a quick view feature to display
file contents, very flexible regex techniques for file manipulation,
archival copying, and more.
