These could be symptoms of using uninitialized memory.  When you do
get the crash dump, save it and post it here in its entirety.  Some
details there might shed some light on the nature of your problems.

The FAQ explains in section 12.2 how to interpret some of the data in
the crash dump, and how to zero in on the place that causes the
trouble.
