I've encountered a serious problem with the allegro grabber:
every time I try to save a datafile to disk it crashes with a page fault
wich is displayed in tiny green letters on top of the grabber screen,
and then hangs my computer.

I tried to recompile everything afresh, first deleting all of allegro,
then unzipping a freshly alleg30.zip and difoctxx.zip, applying the patch
and then doing make. All compiles with no errors or warnings, and tthge
other programs, like the example programs and the demo are working
100% OK. I've read other complaints here about the grabber crashing and
hanging the computer. That I why I have come to think that there might be
a nasty, elusive bug in the grabber. If anybody is interested in helping
me, then I could either e-mail the compiled grabber to them, so they can
test if they experience the same problem, or have tjhem send me a working
copy of the grabber.
Extra info: I'm using a P100 with 40meg of mem, and a CIRRUS video card
with 1 meg mem, running caldara opendos, and the latest non-alphja
version of djgpp and gcc. (I forgot the number)
Thanks in advance for helping me out.
