I am new to serial communication and programming, I know a little.
My question is, if i want to make a program like a bbs or nice terminal
program, if i try to figure out what term.c is doing, i'm sort of getting
that, slowly, but
when i go to wanting to write my own, I'm lost. Do I have to write
functions for checking com port and baud and all that like in term.c, or
do I have that covered with serio.o when i compile it
also, I assume i don't have to use, for example sio(port) for the port
number, or do i? would another veriable work just fine or do i have to
basically follow what was in term.c
as you can probably tell, i am confused to say the least
