Which docs did you try?  Did you read section 17.7 in the DJGPP FAQ
list (v2/faq211b.zip from the same place you get DJGPP), and the
sections it points to?

If the explanations in the FAQ aren't helpful enough, please try to
tell what did they miss, so I could make them better in the next
release.
