What is lout?

Typesetting package somehow similliar to LaTeX, but far more friendly in
making your own templates and producing plain PostScript on output
instead of proprietary DVI (don't flame me, if you are TeX lover, it is
just my stupid and very personal opinion). And very small and compact as
well (around five mega, including GhostScript for viewing PS files).

Original sources are available on ftp://ftp.cs.su.oz.au/jeff/lout/
(mirrored on
ftp://ftp.sunet.se/pub/text-processing/lout/lout/ and
ftp://sunsite.auc.dk/pub/text/lout/ - complete info is on
http://www.ptc.spbu.ru/~uwe/lout/lout.html).
