Hmmm... there is something called PTC and another tool kit called Jlib or somethin if you want it that can read jpeg files. I use Panard Vision(3d Toolkit) and it uses both toolkits. But what is wrong with Allegro? It's the most simplest library to use yet so much can be done with it later Ali :)
