I downloaded and installed the following files into a directory,
c:\djgpp, using WinZip 6.3:
alleg30.zip bnu27b.zip csdpmi4b.zip djdev201.zip gcc2721b.zip
gdb416b.zip gpp2721b.zip lgp271b.zip mak3761b.zip txi390b.zip
When I try to make allegro, make returns the following error:
Missing djgpp package! You need to install bnu27b.zip (or whatever the
latest version is). Download this from wherever you got djgpp, and unzip
it into the root of your djgpp directory.
and when I try to make the scitech mgl 4.05 examples, gcc returns the
following error during compilation
gcc.exe: installation problem, cannot exec `as': No such file or
directory (ENOENT)
My questions are:
What is the missing package for make if I have installed bnu27b.zip, or
why am I getting this error?
Is there a program called 'as'? If so, where is it? (It's not in the
djgpp/bin directory or under the djgpp hierarchy).
