So your problem is with the installer that comes with the CDROM, not
with DJGPP per se.

I don't know anything about this installer (except that making a smart
one that doesn't trap the user isn't easy), since it's not part of
DJGPP.  You have two alternatives:

	1) Contact the distributor(s) of the CDROM and ask them for
           help.

	2) Describe here what does the installer do to install DJGPP.
           (Does it copy the programs and additional files to your
           hard disk?  If so, which files and to what directories?. If
           not, what *does* the installer do?)  Given that
           description, we could advise how to manually move your
           installation into another place and adjust any
           configuration files accordingly.

The easiest way out of this mess would be to let the installer do its
thing with the original, unchanged `install.cfg', then move the
working installation from c:\djgpp to whatever place you want it to
be.  It should be very easy, once you describe what the installer
does.
