You should get an environment, I suggest RHIDE, it works well, you should
run it through a DOS box under WIndows, once you have that you can write and
compile straight from RHIDE.

Well this is a DOS based system, all the things you clicked on are the
compilers or linkers, which you need to use command-line options in order
for them to do something.  If you get RHIDE then you will find its a little
more towards the environment your after.

Not stupid, just confused :-)

You can get RHIDE from the same place you found all the other files, if you
used DJ's Zip-Picker then just select it from one of the lists (It's about
half way down the form).
