I've been programming for awhile now, and when I bought a new computer, I
downloaded DJGPP and Allegro 3.0.  The only thing it says to me is File not
COFF bla bla bla....

I have no idea why, it won't run any DJGPP core programs, allegro can't
compile. =(  and I can't even run Quake.  (Even tho Quake2 is better).

Any suggestions?
