you can definitely use both, with a little care. One thing I did get
burned on: I believe it is 'autoconf' that goes looking for a shell in
/bin. The Cygwin bash didn't seem to want to play well with the djgpp
'sed', IIRC.

FWIW, I also have MinWg32 and a gpp 68K cross compiler that targets the
PalmPilot, and they all run. I get as confused as hell, but the computer
does fine.
