I've looked around on the web and poked through several archives, but
I can't find a coherent answer on this subject. If I wanted to get up and
running with a text manipulation library that will easily compile under
the djgpp c++ compiler, what would I do?
I've looked at stuff about ncurses, but it seems unix centric.
I've looked at stuff about PDcurses, but I couldn't find an easy download site.
Neither these, nor any of the others I glanced at, mentioned djgpp by name,
I'd really rather not have to deal with porting a library to a new compiler.
I really want to be up and programming on my current project asap, but I
guess I may have to port something... I need simple text manipulation for
a text graphics game I want to write. I need access to color, and a relatively
fast implementation, and possibly a windowing system.
Any ideas for me? I'm all ears... Thanks!
