gcc 2.8.1 you can find on simtel, djgpp/v2gnu/gcc281b.zip, you
also need (for C++) gpp281b.zip and lgp2811b.zip. (The zippicker will
point you to this version, BTW)

DJGPP itself is still at version 2.01 (v2.02 is bound to come in
(much) less than a year[1])
