Hey! Merlin <merlin__ AT geocities DOT com> wasn't it Mon, 03 Aug 1998

Where do I stop.. where do we draw the line, either you are suggesting
we all go out and learn pure code and start programming in binary or
you have drawn a line... people draw there lines at different points..
why do you think we should all move to your line ?

>to stop learning. I don't care what you learn or what programming language you use. I don't

I could use a game making kit to make a game.... but no!, I wanted to
learn.. so I got C and allegro.. thus I have actually done what you
suggest, but because my limits are obviously set to less than yours,
you think that is wrong to the point of insulting me and any like
minded people,

>to learn, I am just stating that i don't like to use allegro becuase it makes me feel like i'm

I don't use klick n play or any of the other game making kits because
I wanted to know more, thats the same as you to a different degree
wouldn't you agree?

>Then i asked for other people's OPINION. I did not accuse or call people

I did not go into a newsgroup populated by klic n play users and tell
everyone I dont like it because of things like laziness and having it
done for me and handed on a platter and taking the credit for other
peoples work........But thats what you ahve done re: Allegro in a
newsgroup you know has many Allegro users...Penny dropped yet? :)

Duh! you sure as heck sound like you do.

I do as well.. but thats probably what most programmers do, However I
make my games for game players and not for programmers, If I made
games for programmers then I would never finish a single one
