Don't you have a file djgppfaq.info inside your info subdirectory?  It
comes with the same faq210b.zip where you got the text and HTML
versions, but installs into a different directory, so that info.exe
will find it.

Or maybe the problem is that there's no entry for the FAQ in the file
info/DIR, as distributed with stock DJGPP v2.01, and you didn't add
such an entry.  (Even so, you should be able to say "info -f djgppfaq"
and force Info to load it.)  If there's no such entry, add the
following entry to your info/DIR:

* FAQ: (djgppfaq).
       The DJGPP FAQ List.

After that, just saying "info faq" should display it.
